Black Hole Slingshot?
Observations from the Chandra X-Ray Observatory, XMM-Newton, the Hubble Space Telescope, and a few ground-based telescopes have given evidence that a black hole kickback has been caused through one of two ways. One, that it is a three black hole system, and in which a slingshot effect was produced, or two that gravitational waves from a supermassive black hole merger knocked it about.
